Trump

That’ so true.

It can also mean that you decide to observe and absorb what you like.

Take Trump for example.

The 45^th President of America who will be 74 this month, is a case that requires much study.

As somebody who has changed by 54, I expect that that many others will also wizen up when age catches up with them. But one of my friends told me, not everyone changes. Some get  even very childish.

Trump is one of them. But then that is what indoctrination does to you. When he was elected, the world – or at least the media – wept. One magazine even had a cover of the Statue of Liberty weeping. Oh, they predicted the worst!

Four years away, he is still in power. 74 and still reckless.

But as it is said, you get the government you deserve. So Trump was elected by the Americans. He lost the popular vote but came through legally. It was a shocker. But there you have democracy. We need to reboot the system.

This November we shall see whether  he gets the second term. Anything can happen. Even with the media going ballistic and celebs – white – tweet that they will vote him out. Fact remains, no matter how rich or famous you are, you have only one vote.

America will vote. Pity, the pilgrims have died long back.

But you have to give it to Trump. He sticks to his gun. He is the American Hero of yore. Against the world, the system. No matter he is wrong. Or so the media says. He still sticks to what he thinks is right.

Trump is funny. He comes up with the most obnoxious tweets. God, it must be a nightmare to be his publicist. Or Staff. How come at 74 he still behaves like he was 35…or 20.

I wanted to call this piece “Donald the Duck.” But I think Walt Disney would not like it, But he sure reminds me of the comic character who is always angry (In some stories!). And stuttering and waving his ducky paws. That is Trump for you. A comic character who could be Bugs Bunny because of his carrot head. But I think I will stick with Donald the duck.

Whatever you feel, I guess the time has come to tell him his favourite line..
